Bio

I am a Principal Research Engineer (Engineer V) in the Robotics Institute at CMU. I received B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from Seoul National University in Korea. I received the M.S. degree and Ph.D. degree in Robotics from Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST) in Korea. I joined the Samsung Motors as a researcher in 1995, moved to the Samsung Advanced Institute of Technology (SAIT) in 1999 as a principal researcher. And I moved to CMU in 2008 as visiting scholar and principal research engineer. I have received a This Year’s Researcher Award ( 2004), a Breakthrough of Award (2007), and a 無限探究 Award (2008) from SAIT.
